Essra Mohawk Legendary Singer and Songwriter Essra Mohawk's list of accomplishments is nearly endless. She has worked with world class artists such as Frank Zappa and Jerry Garcia, and has opened for greats such as Procol Harum, Jimi Hendrix and Cream. Her song writing credits include hit songs for Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner and others.

Most notably in 2000 the prestigious Rhino Handmade label released a reissue of her 1970 solo masterpiece, Primordial Lovers, the CD being titled Primordial Lovers MM, with many bonus tracks.

Essra is available as a consultant, and to speak at functions and events as well as performing with her band or as a solo. She also has just formed an acoustic trio, 1Circle.
